Pickups can only be ordered by phone. There is no facility to order your pickup via our website.
Overweight loads
Each size Mighty Bin has an allowable weight limit per pickup price (which is 50kgs more than the generally accepted industry practice of 150kg per cubic metre andis more than the weight other waste collection companies allow):
1 cubic metre Mighty - 200 kgs, 2 cubic metre Mighty Bin - 350 kgs and 3 cubic metre Mighty Bin - 500 kgs.
Each Mighty Bin is weighed when it is picked up. IF YOUR MIGHTY BIN EXCEEDS THE ALLOWABLE WEIGHT LIMIT YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE EXCESS WEIGHT AT $11 PER 100 KGS.
By ordering your pickup you AUTHORISE and give CONSENT to Mighty Bin to charge your credit or debit card for the amount owing for the excess weight when the amount of that excess weight is determined.
FOR SAFETY AND LEGAL REASONS WE CANNOT PICK UP ANY MIGHTY BIN WHICH WEIGHS MORE THAN 1500KGS (1.5 tonnes). As a guide this means that you can only fill a 2 cubic metre Mighty Bin half way up with heavy waste and a 3 cubic metre bin one third the way up with heavy waste.
If our driver comes to your address and cannot pick up your Mighty Bin because it is more than 1500 kgs (1.5 tonnes) YOU WILL BE CHARGED $100 CALL OUT FEE and your Mighty Bin will not be removed.
Steeply sloping sites and difficult access
Your Mighty Bin will not be picked up if our pickup truck cannot be safely stablized using its outriggers because your site is, in our driver's opinion, sloping too steeply or the access is difficult or unsafe.
If our driver comes to your address and decides that he cannot pick up your Mighty Bin because the site is too steep or access is too difficult for him to safely pick up your Mighty Bin then YOU WILL BE CHARGED $100 CALL OUT FEE and your Mighty Bin will not be removed.
Pickup areas
Mighty Bin pickup is available in the metro area within 15km of those authorised stockists listed on the Mighty Bin website from time to time. Pickups outside those areas and in regional and country areas are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please call 1300 087 895 to find out if the pickup service is available in those areas or if additional charges will apply.
Hazardous and toxic waste
Mighty Bin is not authorised or licensed to pick up and remove hazardous and toxic waste. Therefore, you CANNOT put hazardous or toxic waste, such as tyres, asbestos (and similar sheeting and products), computer screens, TVs, chemicals, food and medical waste, in your Mighty Bin. If you are unsure about what you can put in your Mighty Bin check the instructions under "Fill it" on the website, the packaging or on the Mighty Bin itself, or ring us on 1300 087 895.
Our driver will check what type of waste you have put in your Mighty Bin before he picks it up. If there is ANY hazardous or toxic waste in your Mighty Bin then our driver WILL NOT PICK IT UP and you WILL NOT BE GIVEN A REFUND of your pickup fee.

You can pay by credit card or by direct bank transfer. Mighty Bin does not do COD pickups.
Your pickup will be logged and placed in the queue in Mighty Bin's pickup sytem. Mighty Bin makes every reasonable endeavour to complete a pickup within 5 working days from the date you order your pickup, but Mighty Bin cannot make a committment that the pickup will be made within that period or at any particular time or on any particular day within the 5 day timeframe. You do not need to be present when your Mighty Bin is picked up.
If you require your Mighty Bin to be picked up on a specific day then you must give us at least 5 days advance notice of when you would like the Mighty BIn to be picked up.
When ordering your pickup you will need to provide us with:
- Your pickup address
- The location of the Mighty Bin on your property
- What is in the Mighty Bin
- Your Visa or Mastercard details
